These generators are best suite to grid-tie applications, removing the need for batteries i.e (purchase costs , replacement costs and disposal costs). Using your own electricity generated on site and connected on your side of the electricity meter, so you do not need to buy electricity, you use your own. If a higher demand than your generator is providing is needed in-house, that is ok , the difference is simply imported through your ESB meter.
